Stay On Your Mat (SOYM) workshops and retreats are carefully curated wellness journeys that invite participants to learn the power of "staying on your own mat," by finding the truest self and strengthening the path toward living their best lives.
Retreats vary from one-day workshops located in the Parkersburg, WV, community to three- or five-day retreats held in beautiful, serene environments. Multi-day retreats provide lectures, experientials, community building opportunities, and an invitation to reflect and process by taking time alone when needed. Meals and lodging are included in multi-day retreats.
Moving toward wholeness and contentment is the invitation we offer at SOYM Workshops and Retreats. During your time with us we will be guiding you through experiences and reflections to help expand awareness, build healthy skills, and integrate the entire weekend's experience and insights into an aligned way of being.
Hi, I'm Nicole. I have over 18 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor, yoga teacher and somatic breathwork practitioner. I have helped hundreds of clients process trauma, achieve their goals, and improve their overall well-being. My approach is holistic and tailored to each individual's unique needs. I am a certified Soma+IQ™ breathwork practitioner, 500-hr yoga teacher trained, and an experienced trauma-focused therapist.
Laura has a burning desire to awaken you so you may live a more creative, fulfilling, and satisfying life! For more than two decades, she has been recognized for her expertise in forming deep connections, creating a comfortable environment for growth, inspiring new ways of thinking, and leading others through spiritual exploration and discovery. Using grounding and meditation practices, she facilitates Transformational Energy Healing for persons with unresolved trauma and emotional experiences that manifest as physical illness. She holds a number of certifications in a variety of tools and modalities, including a BS and MS in Communication.
Like the great and beautiful Ohio River, or "OYO" (oh-why-oh) as it was called by the Iroquois, we all have abundant gifts of strength, flow, transformation, regeneration and sustenance within to guide us in developing our most optimal “Health in Harmony.” With this vision, Emily is dedicated to offering individualized treatments and programs integrating more than 20 years of education and experience in the movement arts, yoga, meditation, ayurveda and manual therapy that provide relief and resiliency through pain and ease the cumulative effects of everyday stress on the body and mind.
